MERCY School Uniform Bank's mission is to provide school uniforms to Sumter County School students whose families are experiencing financial hardship (job loss, fire victim, etc.).  Our goal is to provide three sets of uniforms per referral.

Uniform Guidelines

The uniform guidelines are:

Tops: White, navy or black, golf/polo shirts with short or long sleeves.

Bottoms: Black, navy or khaki – for girls, slacks, skirts, skorts, shorts, capris or jumpers: for boys – slacks, or shorts. (No cargo pants)

Mercy School Uniform Bank gratefully accepts donations of new and gently used items of clothes under the above guidelines, as well as cash contributions, which we use to buy new uniforms

Mercy School Uniform Bank provides uniforms by referral from a wide range of social services agencies in Americus/Sumter County and by referral from Sumter County Schools.  Please contact your caseworker or school office for a uniform referral.
